Copper Strike (ASX:CSE) is an Australian mineral company focused on finding and developing copper and other base metals in eastern Australia. The company aims to create shareholder value through the development of its advanced projects, and progression of early stage prospects.

Headquartered in Melbourne, with an experienced management and board, Copper Strike listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in November 2004. Major shareholders include Teck Cominco 9.4%, Acorn Securities with 6.2%.

Since listing in late 2004 Copper Strike has successfully taken several prospects in the Einasleigh area of North Queensland from early stage exploration projects up to the feasibility stage. Another major success has been the delineation of a large resource at Walford Creek in NW Queensland. In addition, Copper Strike has several noteworthy exploration prospects the length of eastern Australia.

Copper Strike's main focus is the Einasleigh Project where a production decision is due later in 2008. This project is located in the Etheridge Shire approximately 100 kilometres southeast of Georgetown. The plan is to start production of copper, zinc and lead-silver concentrates in 2010, based on an initial $70 million investment.
