Established in 1985, Oz Tours Safaris is a family owned, Cairns based company with management and staff all being Far North Queensland residents with extensive local knowledge and experience.

Oz tours' high standards of service, many satisfied passengers and innovative programs and concepts has gained them an excellent reputation in the highly specialised, all-age wilderness holiday and ecotourism industry. Oz Tours offers Camping and accommodated tours through Cape York and the Gulf Savannah and is a well-regarded industry leader.

In 2008 they headed off to the Kimberly and Tanami Desert as well as embarking on a series of special interest military heritage tours throughout Queensland.

Oz Tours has been a "Friend of Savannah Guides" since June 2006, becoming an accredited Savannah Guides Operator at the Cape York school. With several staff members attending Savannah Guides schools in 2007 and more scheduled for 2008, they are looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Savannah Guides educating their passengers on all that Northern Australia has to offer.
