Objective
To deliver a Future Visions workshop for the business community and other stakeholders across the seven Gulf Shires, to:
  • look at the key factors which will shape the Gulf economy into the future (eg: climate change, peak oil)
  • define opportunities for local businesses and identify areas were external support is needed
  • to create a vision and action plan for the gulf business community

Objective
To conduct an outcome-focused economic development forum for indigenous communities across the Gulf, and develop a strategy and action plan to progress cooperative economic development activities.

To further develop the Savannah Way tourism brand for the benefit of communities along the route.
