To deliver a Future Visions workshop for the business community and other stakeholders across the seven Gulf Shires, to:

To conduct an outcome-focused economic development forum for indigenous communities across the Gulf, and develop a strategy and action plan to progress cooperative economic development activities.

To further develop the Savannah Way tourism brand for the benefit of communities along the route.

To identify the extent and causes of economic leakage in the region, and identify and initiate implementation of agreed strategies to address the leakage.

To facilitate the supply of affordable housing in the region.

To assist businesses in the Gulf Savannah and Tablelands to pass over to the next generation or to business partners, or to help with business sale plans.

To facilitate indigenous engagement and participation in regional planning processes.

To identify the lifestyle and liveability factors in the Gulf Savannah region which affect attraction and retention of migrants.
